Relying on your buddies or the track to provide electricity is asking for trouble. Bring your own and have peace of mind. Hot coffee and toast in the morning make the rest of the day easy. Unless you own a Suzuki, then your on your own.

A pop up tent. Sometimes known as a canopy. Definitely necessary. You have to have somewhere to keep the sun off your head and the rain off of your bike. Remember to hold down the corners with something heavy so the tent doesn't blow away in the wind. Of course if there's hurricane winds coming in then all bets are off.

Relax in comfort. The fold out chair takes up almost no room when packed away but provides you with creature comforts between rounds. Try not to fall asleep though. Trying to get your leathers on when everyone else is sitting on the grid is no way to race.

At least one of these, better if you have two. Tools on one side and parts on the other. And make sure you get one big enough to fit your motor on so you don't have to be bent over all night when replacing that shattered clutch basket.

You might think this is a bit excessive but after you had one. you wonder why you raced any other way. Protection for your bikes during the trip and at the track plus a place to toss all your gear when the torrential rain hits. I've been flooded out of my tent way to many times so this is a must for me.
Please note, buy one ready to go. Thinking your going to save some cash by making one is pure idiocy. It takes way more time and materials than you can imagine and time on the track is way better than welding steel frame work together. Trust me, I know.

I know this seems odd but if you've ever eaten track food then you know that ketchup is required so you can actually eat the damn stuff.

I put it on eggs and hashbrowns in the morning.
Grilled cheese sandwiches and hamburgers at lunch time, and on farmers pie and meatloaf at dinner.
Ketchup always goes on fries whenever I have them, but never on steak, that's what A1 sauce is for...
